Could eating your meals at a particular time of the day help you lose weight? Intriguing, no? It's a given that in order to lose weight we need to burn more calories than we take in. Modifying our diets and exercising are key, but what about having our meals at a certain times? Could that have a positive effect on slimming us down?
Dieters polled for a survey conducted by Forza Supplements on weight loss helped pinpoint the best times to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner if you want to drop pounds. Are you ready to set your timers?

It's not surprising that the poll found that skipping meals is considered a no-no and very detrimental to weight loss because it leads to overindulging at one meal. You know it's true! For example, I haven't eaten all day and I'm about ready to stick a fork in a cow, deep fry it and eat the whole thing dipped in butter.
So, you shouldn't skip meals if you want to lose weight successfully and according to the information obtained from the 1,000 people polled, the best times to eat your meals are:
- Breakfast at 7:11 a.m.
- Lunch at 12:38 p.m.
- Dinner at 6:14 p.m.
I doubt that anyone would be able to keep to those exact meal times, but it gives you a time frame to shoot for and makes you realize that you need to get up early and have some breakfast and eat your dinner at a reasonably early time.
Makes sense that if you time out your meals and give your body a consistent source of energy, you will be less likely to binge at any one particular meal. It also makes sense to have dinner on the earlier side because we tend to be less active later in the day and excess calories have no option but to be stored as fat. Not to mention, it is hard to get a good night's sleep on a full tummy. I swear I have nightmares whenever I eat too late.
I guess I know what I'll be doing at 6:14 p.m. this evening.
