5 Fun & effective fitness trends you must try this year!

We all know by now that __Kim Kardashian has been upping her workout game ever si__nce she gave birth to baby North. And it looks like she's kicking things up a notch with a new sexy fitness routine, otherwise known as pole dancing. The 33-year-old reality star was seen hitting up Sheila Kelley's S Factor for pole dancing lessons on Friday with her girlfriends, Blac Chyna and Larsa Pippen, carrying a pair of lucite platform heels (a.k.a  stripper heels). Oh and by the way Kris Jenner also tagged along and showed up in a spandex leotard and high-heels. Oh God …

Kim posted a picture of the group in fishnet stockings leaning up against a stripper pole to her Instagram account. I personally don't see anything wrong with Kim breaking a sweat in some fancy stripper heels. She's been killing herself at the gym ever since North's birth, so might as well shake things up a bit before she gets bored. Plus, who's to say she's not taking the classes for Kanye? After all, they are getting married soon. Maybe she wants to impress him with some hot moves on their honeymoon?

I've been hearing a lot lately about chicks taking pole dancing or dance cardio classes. It's certainly a fun way to burn the calories, right? Here are a few other fun fitness trends for 2014 you must try!

CrossFit: CrossFit has been taking over the fitness scene this year like there's no tomorrow. So what is it exactly? It's basically high intensity interval training taken to the third power. The cool thing is that it promises to help you lose weight in a short amount of time. But be careful because CrossFit isn't easy, in fact it's hard–like REALLY hard!

Yoga-boxing: Multitasking exercises like yoga-boxing have become increasingly popular because they help counterbalance intense cardio with strengthening activities.

Fierce: Forget Zumba, this year it's all about Fierce, a dance workout that embraces the rhythms and moves of Africa. This funky fitness craze will have you jumping, swinging, kicking, and stomping for a full body workout that includes both cardio and toning.

Agua spinning: Love spinning? Then you have to try aqua spinning, which is basically stationary cycling done underwater. According to Marie Claire UK you can burn up to 800 calories in one 45-minute. Sign me up!

OrangeTheory: This workout includes short burst of highly intense cardio and strengthening using equipment like free weights, treadmills, and even rowing machines.
