If you're loooking for a reason to do squats, take a look at Jen Selter's butt. I mean, take a GOOD look at it, because that thing is UNREAL. The 20-year-old New Yorker has become a household name on Instagram as she is the vision of staying fit and well, her assets may have something to do with it too.
The star has over a million followers all thanks to great physique and her perky derriere!

Selter says she wants to be an inspiration for other people to get fit which is why the majority of her pictures are of her during or after a workout. Of course the main star is her SUPER rounded and toned butt which she accredits to her frequent gym-going. After graduating high school, the Long Island native took on jobs at a plastic surgeon' office worked at the mall, took cosmetology classes, and started exercising.
Once she saw her body transforming she posted pictures on her Instagram account which garnered her 200,000 to 500,000 followers a month. Despite exhibitioning her best assets online, she says she avoids going to public gyms because everyone recognizes her and she hates being watched.
She is considered a fitness inspiration by many and says she mainly takes pictures of the lower half of her body because it's what fascinates her followers. "I mainly do body selfies. Not that I care what people think, but they don't care. They don't want to see my face," she said. What makes her story more impressive is that Selter is making money this way. Her Instagram popularity gained the attention of nutrition supplement company, Game Plan Nutrition, water company, NY20, and sponsorship through Nike, New Balance, and Lululemon.
Her main fan is her mom who is proud of her daughter's success through social media even though she didn't attend college. She says, "they give her a lot more money than a graduate would be making."
Congrats to Selter on her success! I still think her butt is out of this world, but if she loves what she's doing then more power to her! She considers herself an inspiration for others to get fit, but I think we all have to keep in mind that our butts can't all look like hers. What fascinates me is that she's proven that social media is impactful enough for some of us to get paid just by posting what we are passionate about. It just goes to show you, you never know who is watching!
