4 Ways to a toned post-holiday butt like Sofia Vergara’s

There has been talk for months that Sofia Vergara and her fiancée Nick Loeb had split. But the Modern Family actress is quickly putting those breakup rumors to rest with a new sexy snap she recently posted on Instagram captioned "Nothing like Mexico!"

In the picture, we see Sofia on a boat with her boo wearing nothing but a thong bikini. The two look happier than ever, but I have to admit the first thing I noticed was homegirl's butt. My butt has been looking big and out of shape this holiday season, probably from all the tons of sweets and pernil I've been eating. With all the cooking, eating, and sitting on my butt I've been doing this holiday season, my butt is far from looking its best. In fact, my once toned behind now jiggles with any outfit I wear. Now how can you get that booty toned by the New Year? These super simple work out moves will definitely do the trick. Check them out!

The donkey kick: Work out that donkey by getting on all fours and bring your leg up into a 90 degree angle. Make small kicks back until you start to feel the pressure in your buttocks. Do 20 reps for each leg.

Sumo squat: I love sumo squats because you can literally do them anywhere, even at your desk (when no one is looking of course). Stand with your legs wide with your toes pointed out. Squat down with your knees pressing out and making sure to squeeze to come back up. Do this deep squat for 10 reps.

Stepping back lunges: Sit back with your back leg straight and try pulling yourself up with the weight in your heel. Do 10 reps and then repeat on other leg.

Side lunges: Instead of lunging forward and backward, try lunging to the sides. Just bend your right knee and lunge sideways. Repeat 10-12 times before switching to the left side.
