We all know about the importance of drinking eight glasses of water a day. It's a habit that will not only help keep a well functioning digestive system, but it also helps fight fatigue, guard against water retention, prevent constipation, and the list goes on and on. With that said, I've been the first one to forget this good rule of thumb and have been missing out on all those wonderful benefits BIGTIME! Soooo, a little creativity with some of my favorite natural ingredients led me to a simple recipe that is already giving me some nice rewards, particularly in my abdominal section. Horray! Lemon, ginger and cucumber water
1 lemon or lime, sliced1 cucumber, sliced
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
12 to 15 mint leaves
2 liters of water
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a big jar. Refrigerate overnight and drink all of it through out the day the next day.
