The thing to keep in mind is that there are good, okay, and some of the worst snacks you can indulge on. Some of the worst things you can eat are the ones that follow:
Potato and Banana chips: As Latinas we grew up eating these delicious banana chips. The problem is they're fried and containns more saturated fat than your body needs daily! Opt for an actual banana instead. The same goes for potato chips which are made up of "bad carbs" and can make you fat.
Movie theater popcorn: As tempting as a bag of popcorn may be, the ones at movie theaters are the worst. Depending on the size you could consume up to 10 grams of saturated fat. Sneak in some air popped popcorn in your purse as a healthier option.
Fruit flavored yogurt: Go for plain yogurt and top with your favorite FRESH fruits. Flavored yogurts are full of sugar and can easily make you pack on the pounds.
__Sugar-free snacks:__These treats may seem harmless but the truth is they're packed with fat! You're better off eating the real deal and not worrying about the mystery ingredients that came harm you in the sugar-free version.
Soda: You may feel tempted to reach for your favorite carbonated beverage but that's not a smart move. Not only is soda (diet or not) packed with excess sugar, it contains chemicals that can eventually lead to pancreatic cancer, speeds up aging, and can erode your teeth enamel.
