Dancing is an ingrained part of our culture. For us Latinos, it's just part of life. Therefore when I learned that we can dance our way to a flat tummy I was intrigued. One of the worst things about exercise is the actual idea of working out. But if I could get the same results by doing something as enjoyable as dancing and getting that toned stomach? I was sold!

You may not be able to work out for hours like contestants on these shows, but by dancing daily you can achieve that flat tummy you always wanted. In fact some of the best dances are featured below!
Belly dancing: If you've ever taken a belly dancing class then you know the base of it is surrounded by your core. Keeping your abs tight during this dance is essential to perfecting the moves and achieving that toned stomach! I mean, have you seen Shakira's?!
Salsa dancing: One of our favorite dances, the salsa is sexy and sensual when you're matched up against the right partner. It's also a full body workout that shapes up your abs, legs, and hips.
Pole dancing: One of the key components of successfully pole dancing is engaging your core. In order to keep your body up on the pole, you have to make sure your abs are in tight–and the best part is it also works out your arms and your thighs!
Ballroom dancing: This graceful dance requires you to remain poised, upright, and with your stomach held in. By constantly practicing to keep those abs contracted, you're bound to develop that flat toned stomach too.
Zumba: If you don't want to commit to one specific dance style then try out Zumba! It's a Latin fusion of some of our favorite dances and gives you a full body workout is a great way to burn fat and get flat abs fast!
