When I'm looking to drop a few pounds, I love making smoothies. Many people associate smoothies with being boring and get tired of them really fast. If you want to pretend that you're on a getaway to a topical island then this smoothie is perfect for you! The bite of coconut and chocolate combined is both delicious and satisfying for your sweet tooth indulgences.

Chocolate peanut butter banana oatmeal smoothie
You'll get your fiber, whole grains, and sweet tooth fix in this delicious blend. If you're craving Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, then this is your go-to smoothie. One sip of this and you'll forget those chocolates even existed!
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, peeled, cut into large chunks and frozen (click here for how to freeze fruit)
1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice*
3 Tablespoons creamy, natural peanut butter (or raw almond butter for a more neutral flavor)
1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats (use oats labeled “gluten-free” for a gluten-free smoothie)

This smoothie is packed with omega-3's and plenty of vitamins that are derived from the almond butter, bananas, and flax seeds. The heavenly tasting mix is perfect as a post-workout replenisher or as a snack.
