She doesn't simply rely on her workouts, but also watches her diet to maintain the hard work she puts in at the gym. Evelyn is the abs-piration we should all aspire to look like–or at least try to!

Many of us think we won't ever see them, but we're here to prove you wrong with these 5 secrets to achieving flat abs. Watch out Evelyn, your secret is out!

 Eat a diet high in fiber: By eating whole grains, fruits, and vegetables high in fiber, you are keeping yourself full and shrinking your stomach at the same time. The plus side is they are also bloat reducing foods!

There's no such thing as spot reducing: Doing 100 crunches a night or other ab moves are not going to function by themselves. Don't forget to add cardio to your exercise regimen, plus high-interval intensity workouts which will work your WHOLE body and help you shed fat around your tummy.

Eat a diet high in mono-unsaturated fats: This healthy fat found in nuts, avocado, and olive oil is heart-healthy and  help burn fat in your abdominal region. Makes you think twice about rejecting nuts and avocado for being too "fatty," huh?

Detox with water: We're contantly told to drink water and maybe we should finally listen! Drinking water helps keep your body functioning smoothly and allows you to burn fat and detox properly.

Don't forget these vital exercises: Your abs are part of your core and the key here is to strengthen it. Planks are a great way to tighten your midsection as well as your arms, and back exercises help you stand taller making you look slimmer. For ab work, add weights to make the moves more challenging and do yoga to lengthen and strengthen your muscles.
