6 ways lack of sleep is bad for your health AND your love life!

We all know a bad night's sleep can affect your performance in the office the next day and even alter your mood. But it turns out a lack of slumber an also have serious consequences on your love too!

According to a new study that racked 78 different couples over two weeks, just ONE bad night's sleep can cause increased relationship conflict. Why? The worst couples slept, the less empathy they showed to their partners and the harder they found it to judge each other's emotion. And that wasn't the only side effect!

Poor sleep also induced more selfish and negative feelings in partners, making each individual feel less appreciative of each other. In turn, that also made it harder for them to resolve their differences.

The good news? Improving sleep can sometimes help relationships as it puts you in a better mood, restores and kicks off a cycle of other benefits as well.

Honestly, I'm not all too surprised to hear this. I know that I personally am not a happy camper after a bad sleep. That's why I try my best to get at least 7-8 hours a night–and why you should too!
