Setting up your fridge to be diet-friendly is super important when you're trying to lose weight. This mini-makeover can mean the difference between losing a few pounds and reaching your goal weight.

The key, however, is where you strategically place certain foods. Place healthier options at your eye level and you will lose the weight without trying. To find out how to fix up your fridge to reach ultimate weight loss success, read our tips below!

1.Get rid of junk food: Get rid of the ones that need to be stored in the fridge such as sodas. Having them in plain view only adds to the temptation of having one.

2. Find healthier options of said junk foods: When I said ditch the junk food, I meant the high calorie and fat ones that will ruin your diet. You can still have chocolate, pizza, or ice cream. Just be sure to buy low-calorie versions to satisfy your sweet or salty tooth.

  1. Get a fruit bowl and clear storage containers : Having your favorite pieces of fruit readily available to you will make getting your daily serving a whole lot easier. The same applies to the way you store them. Clear containers will improve access in your fridge and cause you to reach for a banana or apple, as opposed to those Oreos in the pantry.

4. Use center of fridge for healthy snacks: When you first open your fridge, you are inclined to grab the first thing you see. Make sure that the center is stocked with healthy snack options such as pre-made snacks ranging from yogurts, trail mix, to low-fat string cheese.

5. Place veggies in plain view: Placing veggies in crispers hides thrm away and by the time you remember they're there, they've spoiled. Make sure to place them somewhere you can see them and that they're pre-cut so you're more tempted to eat them.
