Mariah Carey is known for her amazing vocals, her divalicious attitude, dem babies, and did I mention her hot body? The 43-year-old songstress recently posted pictures from the set of the music video for "Hermosa," the Spanish version of the song "Beautiful" featuring Miguel in Italy. And among those pictures there were a handful of the songstress in a bikini…and I have to say, I was impressed!

Mimi's pre-pregnancy body is back and she certainly serves as an inspiration for the rest of us. Looking good in a bikini doesn't come naturally to everyone, so in order to do so, that requires some preparation. Lucky for you, we've come up with a bikini prep detox that will have you looking as radiant as Mariah Carey herself!
First off, you'll need to cleanse your body of any impurities that may be keeping your body from looking as bikini-ready as possible. To do this there are certain foods you'll need to start eliminating and adding to your diet about two weeks before you plan on rocking that two-piece. Don't worry, we have you covered and if you follow these tips, you'll have friends asking you for your secret!
Get rid of these toxic drinks: Getting rid of caffeine, alcohol, and other sugary drinks is important during the bikini cleanse. It may be difficult at first, but doing it slowly and replacing them with water during the first week is key. If water is too boring for you, try naturally flavoring it with your favorite fruits and herbs.
Eliminate these foods: Foods such as breads (even whole grains) oats, and so forth can cause that unwanted bloating. You'll also want to eat as little meat as possible, avoid unnatural sugars, processed foods, fast foods, and dairy.
Eat lots of fresh foods: Include lots of detoxing foods such as organic vegetables of your choice, fruits, gluten-free grains such as brown rice and quinoa, beans, lean protein, and beans in your diet.
Detoxing must-do's: Make sure to drink over two liters of water a day and if you really miss coffee, opt for a green tea instead which contains antioxidants and doesn't interrupt the detoxing process.
Exercise: Finally, exercising is important during this period as well. It's an extra way to make your body look more toned on top of your already healthy diet. Don't skimp on your workout as it can make a big difference on your bikini body appearance!
