Have you ever tried an extreme diet? I did. A couple of weeks ago, I tried to go on a 5-day cleanse where I drank only juice. I thought I would be fine, since most of the juices were pretty healthy (low in sugar, filled with nutrients and plenty of veggies), but after a day I just didn't feel great and decided to quit. Although I think the 1-day juice cleanse actually helped me in the long run, it got me thinking about some of the other insane diets out there. Juicing aside, here's our collection of the 4 craziest (and most dangerous!) diets of all time. These will scare you–don't ever try them!

1. The Baby Food Diet: This diet is all about eating nothing but baby foods, which theoretically should force you to eat more fruits and veggies but in reality just makes you eat tiny portions that are meant for, you know, infants and not full-grown people.
2. The Master Cleanse: Although I've heard of diets where you drink nothing but juice, this one is particularly crazy because it involves basically nothing but drinking a lemonade made with some maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Oh yes, and you're supposed to do this for 10 days. Ugh!
3. The Cotton Ball Diet: You eat cotton balls and… nothing else. Apparently this is what some supermodels are doing to stay thin but, obviously, cotton balls are NOT food and this is a seriously dangerous practice cause, ya know, cotton balls are not food! How is this even a fad?
4. Breatharianism: This "diet" has to be the craziest of them all. You don't eat. Followers of this creepy almost cult-like, non-eating lifestyle believe that you can survive on only air to nourish the body and consume no food or drink. Unsurprisingly, this causes severe dehydration, malnutrition, and other severe complications. Yeah, DUH!
