What do you do when you get a traffic ticket? For one woman, the answer was to lose weight!__
Jeanette Colantonio was stopped by a traffic cop and she knew it was coming. At 408 pounds, she was no longer able to buckle her seatbelt. In fact, she hadn't buckled her seatbelt in years. That was the kick in the bum that she needed to lose the weight, though, and she has now lost over 200 pounds. WOW! I mean… WOW!

She admits that the ticket was "reality in my face" and that getting written up inspired her to eat right, exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. She never believed in her own ability to lose the weight but she did–and all without pills or surgery. I mean, talk about an amazing and inspiring story!

Trooper Mark Amos recounts the story, explaining that it actually happens a lot of people due to the obesity epidemic. It's a really big safety hazard that so many overweight and obese people are physically not able to be safe and buckle up, so he for one, is hoping that others will take a cue from Jeanette. I'm hoping for the same, actually, because if this woman can do it, then so can you!
