I cannot for the life of me fathom how or why anyone would call model and Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition cover girl Kate Upton fat but, apparently, somebody has. Well, I have just a few words to say to the idiots who wrote this: just because she has a curvy Latina-esque body does NOT mean that she is fat! I mean, have you SEEN her photos on the cover of GQ? There's no way this beautiful lady can be considered fat.
So who, exactly, is making these ridiculous accusations of Kate Upton being too heavy? According to Jezebel, it's all because of a "pro-skinny" website calledSkinnyGossip—which, let's face it is actually a pro-anorexia site masquerading as some sort of ridiculous news. The site posted photos of Kate Upton on the runway (looking pretty darn hot, by the way) and criticizes her:
Now, there's nothing wrong with an average girl like Kate being confident. She's pretty, she bangs down the runway like she owns it, and I totally commend her for her bravery. Huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition — she looks like a squishy brick. Is this what American women are "striving" for now? The lazy, lardy look? Have we really gotten so fat in this country that Kate is the best we can aim for? Sorry, but: eww!

Okay, seriously, they are being RIDICULOUS. I would pretty much KILL for Kate Upton's body because, well, the woman seriously rocks it. Maybe she's really not like those size minus zero models that typically walk the runway but that actually makes her MORE appealing to me. American women should be striving for whatever they want to strive for—and I don't think a hot model with awesome curves is the wrong thing to aim for! Plus, Kate's dated quite a few sexy men in the past so I'd say American men have no problem with her body, either.
