Khloé Kardashian has been very busy. She’s been very busy with the launch of her much-anticipated signature fragrance XO Khloé, which debuted on December 1. Still, that did not keep her from turning her home in Calabasas, California, into a wintry Christmas paradise. We know because as busy as she is, Khloé has made sure to document what she’s up to via social media.
More from MamásLatinas: Affordable and on-trend Christmas decorations
It’s not surprising that Khloé is busy. After all when is anyone from the Kardashian-Jenner clan ever not busy? It’s also not surprising that she went all out with the holiday decorations because that’s also something all the Kar-Jens are known for and Khloé has declared Christmas her favorite time of the year. Check out how she decorated this year. Maybe grab a sweater first because it’s giving elegantly chilly.
That's one good looking cookie.
Khloé took to her Instagram Stories on December 2 to share some bits of holiday cheer gracing her home. Here you can see a cute gingerbread cookie decorated to look like it’s wearing an apron. Behind it, note the three green trees that are abundantly strung with white lights.
She showcased her mini carousel.
This little carousel does big things. It lights up and it spins. The video that the Good American founder posted to her IG Stories showed the carousel doing what it does and featured the song “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” This carousel must be part of Khloé Christmas decor collection because it’s not the first time we’ve seen it. More on that later.
Check out the ornaments!
Khloé gave a shoutout to her “little Elf, Inna” from Butterfly Floral & Event Design for the decor. The trees are covered in fairy lights and check out those ornaments. They look like melting icicles dripping from the branches of the evergreen trees. Oh, and note the white reindeer. This isn’t the first year we’ve seen white reindeer at Khloé’s place for the holidays.
The glass icicles are very, very elegant and I’m sure that in person the lights play off of them beautifully. It appears that all of the trees—there are multiple ones—are decorated in the same fashion creating a uniform look.
Get a load of this Advent calendar!
Some of us get our Advent calendars from Trader Joe’s or Target, but not Khloé. She shared one of the Advent calendars that she has and it’s from Gucci. This designer Advent calendar is only available on the luxury brand’s app and it is not cheap because nothing Gucci makes is cheap.
The Advent calendar opens up like a book and the interior design of the calendar is inspired by the Palazzo della Mercanzia in Bologna, Italy. The windows are designed to look like they have been decorated with lights and flocked with snow. There’s also a sign that reads “Palazzo Gucci.”
A peek at what's inside the Advent calendar.
I don’t know about you, but I’m curious about what’s inside of that Advent calendar, so I went looking for an unboxing video of it. It is filled with ornaments. I mean they’re cute, but I’m not blown away. I think they are a little underwhelming as far as ornaments go. But maybe that’s what they were going for—underwhelming luxury?
What makes Khloé's decor unsurprising?
Well, it’s not like anyone is surprised that she goes all out, especially since she can afford to and it’s become a family tradition. Also, her decor this year is similar to he decor last year, which is fine. It’s not like anyone needs to do an entirely different theme every year.
The lifestyle website Poosh, created by Khloé’s sister Kourtney Kardashian, gave its followers on TikTok a tour of Khloé’s 2023 holiday setup and it has the same vibe as this year’s.
Photographer Ivan Solis took pictures of last year’s decorations as well.
If you scroll through the images, you can see how similar the 2023 decorations are to the ones Khloé opted for this year. The ornaments on the 2023 trees are spheres instead of icicles, though. You can also see that the carousel and white reindeer were featured last year as well.
I have to say that I do appreciate that some of Khloé’s Christmas decorations like the carousel and the white reindeer make yearly appearances. Revisiting ornaments past is one of my family’s favorite things to do when we decorate for the holidays. Hopefully, her children—daughter True and son Tristan—will will treasure those ornaments and decorations because of the beautiful memories they bring back.
