Inside Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s Calabasas condo that’s up for sale for $3.5 million

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have put their Calabasas, California, condo on the market, which means we can all take a look at pictures of it. We don't know about you, but we love to look inside celebrity homes and pretend like we can afford to buy them. We can't, but it doesn't cost anything to look and imagine ourselves living a life of luxury.

When you take a look at the interior of the Calabasas condo, it is obvious that Kanye had a lot to do with the design of the place. It is more than a little reminiscent of their Hidden Hills home, which is what some would call monastery chic and others would call cold and austere. Kanye definitely has a minimalist aesthetic when it comes to homes. Everything is so orderly and designed with clean lines. It makes you wonder where they keep all of their stuff.

Even the kitchen has absolutely nothing on the counters. It looks like no one ever cooks in there. It's hard to even find where the refrigerator is because it just kind of blends into the wall. Go ahead and take a look so you can see what we are talking about.

Doesn't this just scream Kanye?

Well, maybe scream isn't the right word, but this place is SO Kanye it's not even funny. The place was built in 2016, and Kim bought it for $1.6 million in 2017.

Kim and Kanye are selling the place for $3.5 million.

That's quite a bump from the price they originally paid, but presumably they put a lot of money into it, because it did not look like this when Kim bought it. It was turned into a minimalist haven by Kanye.

Kanye hired Vincent Van Duysen to take the place from Mediterranean to monastic.

The Belgian designer took the condo from its original Mediterranean style and transformed it into what it is now. It's hard to believe that the space was ever Mediterranean. Kanye had the place redone as a birthday gift to Kim.

The condo has three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The entire place is done in neutral colors. The bathrooms have fancy Toto toilets, and one of the bathrooms has a posh Jee-O Soho Freestanding Bathtub in it. Sadly, none of the pictures in the listing show the bedrooms or the bathrooms.

There's a covered deck.

You can kind of catch a glimpse of the outdoor living space through the windows in this picture. Having an outdoor deck especially when you don't have a dedicated yard is nice.

Let's talk about this kitchen!

Have you ever seen anything like it? For starters, look at the stove. That stove looks more like an art installation than something you would actually cook on.

See that door next to the ovens?

We're thinking that's the Sub-Zero fridge. It blends into the wall and looks like a wide door.

Why did Kim buy the condo in the first place?

Well, Kim's mom Kris Jenner has space in the same building, and so does Kim's grandmother Mary Jo. The condo has been seen in episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Kim used the condo as office space.

Kim wasn't actually living in the condo, and neither was Kanye. The condo is close to Kim and Kanye's Hidden Hills home, and she has used it as office space for KKW Beauty and her new Skims shapewear line.

The floors are exquisite.

The floor that goes from the living room to the kitchen is made out of wide-plank European oak. It adds warmth to the otherwise cold plaster details on the walls and cabinets.

Do you think the next owner will leave it as is?

Thanks to Kanye having the condo renovated, it is a one-of-a-kind home. Do you think that whoever buys it will want to keep it as is, or will they de-Kanye the place? Whatever they decide to do, they should for sure keep those floors.

Why is Kim selling it?

A source told People that Kim and Kanye bought property that's right next to their Hidden Hills home, and they're going to build on it. Kim will surely have enough space to run her businesses from there.
