Demi Lovato has placed her gorgeous home up for sale. The singer purchased the Hollywood Hills mansion for $8.3 million in September 2016, and it is now available for purchase for $9.495 million according to TMZ. The real estate move follows Demi's health scare in July 2018 when paramedics were called to the home after she suffered from an overdose after a night of partying with her friends.
She had been sober for more than six years but revealed she had relapsed a month before her hospitalization. She was released from the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center two weeks after the health scare and was flown straight to a rehabilitation center from there, so she hasn't stepped foot in the home since. There's no telling where Demi will go following her stint in rehab, but someone else will soon be moving into her old digs.

The singer purchased the four-bedroom home following her split from Wilmer Valderrama. She opened up about living by herself for the time in her 2017 documentary, Simply Complicated. "There are issues that I haven't conquered yet that I know I won't conquer if I'm relying on somebody else to take care of the loneliness," she said at the time. "I just wasn't ready because there was just so much of my life that I hadn't explored yet." She added: "I wanted a house now because I'm on my own and I'm independent now."

The home's location is worth the risk.
The home is located on a hill and was even in danger of being affected by a landslide in 2017. It's a risky location but just so beautiful. The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer envisioned the home to be her safe haven. "I'm growing up by myself and to have my own place, designed the way that I want it to look with my dogs," she shared in Simply Complicated. "I wanted to know what it's like to be on my own and this is where I can finally feel like I can be grown up."
The backyard is fabulous.
"This is the first time Demi has really been on her own, in her life. It also falls at a time as she's turning 25, where she's trying to figure out who she is," her former manager Phil McIntyre said in the doc.
