Kanye West has given us a very rare look inside his and Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills, California, home, which the couple reportedly purchased for $20 million back in 2014. The power couple moved into their massive mansion in December 2017, following some major renovations, and apparently they had an agreement not to show the interior of the house to the public. Well, we all know Kanye…he has a mind of his own, and he decided to show off his house, apparently without Kim's consent.

The rapper took to Twitter to show off his house, which, according to a tweet from Kris Jenner, is now worth $60 million. Oh my!
The singer joked about his house looking like "the sunken place."
Kanye was making a reference to the 2017 Oscar-winning horror film Get Out, which has a scene called "The Sunken Place." In March 2017, following the release of the film, Jordan Peele, who wrote and directed the film, explained on Twitter, "The Sunken Place means we’re marginalized. No matter how hard we scream, the system silences us."
But, of course, Kanye was just making a joke.
Kanye shared this photo of what seems to be either a dining or meeting room.
Some followers were impressed but for all the wrong reasons, and one even commented, "Looks like you live on a psychiatric unit." OMG!
Well, it does look cold and unfinished…don't you think?
Kim and Kanye designed this home in collaboration with Belgian architect Axel Vervoordt. As you can see, the architecture is almost church-like, with columns all over and everything off-white, including the minimal furnishings. Outside, the estate boasts 3.5 acres, two swimming pools, two spas, and its own vineyard.
"We decided we wanted a house that didn’t need baby-proofing,” Kim told Architectural Digest in January, speaking of the interior's smooth surfaces, which were designed that way with 4-year-old North, 2-year-old Saint, and 3-month-old Chicago in mind.
Kim commented on her husband's posts.
Of course, people took her comment seriously, and some media outlets lost no time, even saying that she "scolded" Kanye on Twitter.
But it was all in good fun, as she explained in a later tweet.
Do you like Kim and Kanye's mansion?
