I'm always blown away when I come across a kitchen hack that is new to me. Right now it's like my brain is scrambled in a delightful way because I just learned how to scramble an egg while it's still in the shell. I mean I didn't even know this was a possibility. Did you? Now you and I and anyone that wants to can have scrambled hard boiled eggs. I'm so giddy about it, you'd think I had discovered a hen that lays golden eggs.

I love hard boiled eggs and think they are a great thing to make ahead of time and have on hand for a quick protein fix. You can have them for breakfast on the go, you can slice them up and put them in salads and so on and so forth. The thing is that I'm the only one in our family that likes hard boiled eggs because everyone else likes them scrambled. Well, now we can have both! Woo hoo!!!
The technique is shown in the video below and it's very simple. Basically you get a long-sleeved t-shirt and put an egg inside of one of the sleeves. You secure the egg in the center of the sleeve using twine or rubber bands or you could even use dental floss. You then hold on to the sleeve from both ends and wind the egg by spinning the sleeve a few times. As soon as the sleeve has been spun, you pull tight on both ends of the sleeve, which makes the egg spin very quickly as it unwinds. You do this about a dozen times and then proceed to hard boil the egg when you are done. The results are a golden hard-boiled scrambled egg.
Play the video to check how simple the technique actually is because words don't do it justice, it's more of a visual thing.
