Watermelon is delicious and refreshing to have during the summer time, but cutting it can be tricky. I know I'm always scared I'm going to get cut because unlike many other fruits, the watermelon is round and doesn't have a sturdy bottom for cutting.
Even when I try cutting it down the middle, it is never split evenly. That's why I was amazed when I saw a video of a man cutting up a watermelon in the most unique manner!

Normally, cutting up a watermelon requires you cut the fruit in cubes or triangle pieces for eating. This involves a prolonged process of cutting and dividing that is tedious. The man in this video made this look like child's play when he easily opened up a watermelon and cut out the meat unanimously and evenly.
He starts off with two split watermelon halves and then proceeds to slice one of them three times horizontally around the fruit. Then he cuts around the flesh to separate it from the rind and with his knife slices vertically and horizontally across the top of the fruit. At first this doesn't appear to be impressive until he is set to store away the cut-up fruit. He grabs a plactic bag in which is tips the watermelon into and out comes all of the perfectly cut watermelon ready to eat.
It's baffling that it all comes out evenly and nothing is left behind except the rind itself! If you want to try out this amazing trick yourself, follow the directions the man gives in the video below!
