Moms, if you feed your kids Hot Pockets, listen up! Nestle has voluntarily recalled Hot Pockets Philly Steak & Cheese sandwiches because they may contain diseased meat, the USDA announced. This occurred after Rancho Feeding Corp. meat was used at a facility that makes the frozen product.
Rancho Feeding Corporation, if you remember, is the company recalling 9 million pounds of meat since last week. If you think you own one of these products, keep reading to find out what to do!

Nestle, who owns Hot Pockets, have recalled a limited amount of the products feared to be tainted by the meat. So far there have not been any reported illnesses, but the public is being told to avoid eating them and to return them to their supermarket for a refund.

This proves that we need to be careful about what we purchase because you never know if it will make you sick. In this case it sounds like the company caught the issue in time before it affected any consumers. They are following the right protocol by taking things off shelves and letting people know in the event that they may have bought their product. Nine million pounds of meat is no joke either! Hopefully no one has been affected by the tainted meat and that Hot Pockets can be cleared of this mess.
