You might not be aware that bee pollen is a superfood that is said to be a great natural way to speed up your metabolism and burn calories. There are many other health benefits associated with this supplement, so there's no doubt it's at least worth trying, right? Here's my latest favorite obsession featuring of course a taste of bee pollen for you to try if you haven't already.
Strawberry smoothie
Makes 1 serving
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup low fat Greek yogurt
1 cup soy milk
1 Tbs of honey or agave nectar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 Tbs bee pollen (available at health stores)
Ice
Directions:
Add all ingredients (except for the ice) to the blender. Pulse. When blended, add the ice, pulse some more until smoothie consistency.
Enjoy!
