If you're a banana lover like me, next time you reach for one you might want to look out for spiders. Yep, it seems that Brazilian Wandering Spiders are taking over one banana at a time! The deadly spiders were seen in London where 29-year-old Consi Taylor found the creepy crawlers breeding on her freshly bought bananas.
To clarify, Taylor didn't notice they were there when she picked them out. She thought it was mold growing on the banana. Well, boy did she get the SHOCK of a lifetime…

As the woman was eating her nutritious snack, she saw what looked like white mold on the banana peel only to notice that there were tiny spiders growing in it. To make matters worse, those tiny spiders were hatching onto her kitchen table and crawling on her carpet.
Horrified as she was, she tried returning the bananas to the supermarket she purchased them where they gave her a discounted coupon she could use in the future. The supermarket also apologized and said they are normally careful with food inspection.
However the situation that unfolded only escalated to new levels as she and her family were told to evacuate by a pest control firm. Exterminators came in to get rid of the deadly creatures known as Brazilian Wandering Spiders (banana spiders) and are some of the most venemous and poisonous ones found in South America.
This tale of horror has also caused Taylor a fear of buying bananas and has left her questioning if she swallowed some too. Ahh!
This would leave anyone traumatized and I can't say I blame Taylor for not wanting to buy bananas after that incident. Men especially DON'T want to encounter these spiders because their poison gives them long-lasting erections that can kill them. I'm sure this has instilled a fear in all of us and we'll be double checking our produce–just in case.
