Crazy real Halloween decorations scare neighbors into calling the police

With Halloween only a couple of weeks away, I'm sure you've seen lots of spooky decor in your neighborhood. However, in Mustang, Oklahoma, residents were scared straight by one neighbor's gruesome Halloween display. The home owner, Johnnie Mullins, had him house set up with your usual ghosts, but what stood out were the fake dead bodies on his driveway.

It sounds all innocent, but the truth is, the bodies looked so real that it prompted people to call the police!

The fake bodies on Mullin's driveway are set up to look like the garage door crushed a man's head, and the other body looks like its head is stuck beneath the car tire. Creepy right? That's exactly the effect he was going for and admitted it to News 9. "Just trying to scare people, that's what I like to do," he said.

He definitely scared some people, including neigbor Rebecca Fuentes who told the TV station about her encounter with the decorations. "My heart about came out of my chest. I thought 'Oh my God!'" In fact, someone thought it was real and even called 911and police and firefighters BOTH responded. Neighbors main concern is that it may scare children, but so far the kids and police haven't voiced any problems with the decor. The cops even told Mullins to keep up the good work.

While many of his neighbors think the decorations are out of control, Mullins says that it's perfectly appropriate for Halloween. I'd have to say I agree with him! I'm pretty sure if he wanted to, he could get more graphic than the fake dead bodies he put out in front of his home. He seems like a man who just enjoys the festivities and the whole point of the holiday is to scare people. What would the spookiest day of the year be without frightening the neighbors?
