I must confess I don't like root beer. Not a sip. But my children love it since the first time they tasted it. When they have friends coming over, they make root bear floats to treat them
On special occasions, like when they bring me good grades, win a basketball game or behave for a week, I prepare these root beer floats with mom's special touch: whipped cream and cherry on top.

I'm not going to deny that look delicious. They look really cute in Mason jars. And the best part is that my children are grateful because I make them feel especial. And if I serve the root bear floats in small jars, they always come for the second one .

Root Beer Float
Ingredients
Vanilla ice cream
Root beer
Whipped cream
Maraschino cherries
Preparation
1. In glass place two scoops of ice cream.
2. Carefully add the root beer.
3. Complete with whipped cream.
4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
