Latin slow cooker: Pork & black bean soup to warm you up! (RECIPE)

It is REALLY cold outside right now. I don't know how it is where you live, but the better part of the country has been freezing our butts off this entire week. Here in New York where I live, it's barely been above 20 any day. In fact, I've woken up to 10-14 degree weather for too many days in a row–and that's in Fahrenheit!

Well, the first thing I do (besides bundle up) when it's cold outside is step into the kitchen and start making some body-warming soups. The first soup that immediately came to mind was this slow cooker pork and black bean soup. It's the perfect combination of hearty (all that yummy pork!) and healthy (black beans are GREAT for you!), plus it sent so much warmth that it made me feel good all over despite the blistering, freezing temperatures. I bet your whole family would enjoy this one, too, so dig in!
