6 Latin-style latkes to celebrate Hanukkah (RECIPES)

Happy Hanukkah!

I know that most of us Latinos are Christian or come from a Christian background, but I think it's very important to acknowledge that there is also a significant population of Latino jews in countries like Cuba, Argentina, and Mexico.

Today marks the first day of the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights. It's an eight-day celebration that is observed by kindling the lights on a beautiful candelabrum, the nine-branched Menorah. Although I'm not Jewish myself, I have taken part in this celebration with friends and I have always found it beautiful. But, of course, no celebration would be complete without a feast and this time the feast includes latkes, pan fried pancakes made out of potatoes. Hope these 6 delicious Latin-style latkes inspire you too to celebrate Hanukkah. Enjoy!
