How to make a dulce de leche ice cream float (RECIPE + VIDEO)

What's your favorite thing about summer? For me, it's definitely cool summer drinks and ice cream.__ I mean, honestly, what exactly is better than one of your favorite Latin-flavored ice creams or an amazing Latin cool-down drink? Absolutely nothing!

Well, nothing that is, unless you combine the two!

That's right, I'm talking about the always amazingly delicious ice cream float (or ice cream soda, in some cases). But have you ever made a Latin-inspired one? I never have, which is exactly why I'm learning to do it now!

After doing a little research, I found a pretty handy video on how to make an ice cream float. I think it can be used to make an ice cream float with ANY of your favorites, but the recipe I loved best was the one below, using dulce de leche ice cream and Colombiana soda. Dulce de Crackie Ice Cream Float (recipe courtesy of Lisa Takes Miami)

__Ingredients:__1 pint of Haagen Daz Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
Colombiana Soda

__Directions:__Put two scoops of ice cream in an 8 oz glass. Pour Colombiana Crack Soda slowly on top. Important to do it slowly so it doesn't overflow. Tastes best with a straw.
