Did you or your kids ever dream of having a room made of edible walls, like in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? Now, all those wishes can finally come true–a British company has created an actual version of the lickable wallpaper that is seen in the movie!
The company installed cookie-flavored wallpaper in their building's elevator by inserting 1,325 of McVitie's Jaffa Cakes into its walls. Recent visitors to the London office were the first to experience it and since then, talk of the sweet space (pun fully intended) has spread like wildfire.

But though the 5-year-old in me is squealing with delight (and really wants to run out and spend whatever amount of money and time it takes to recreate this in the walls of my home), my healthier, more responsible, and infinitely more germaphobic adult self is super grossed out! The company says that a cake is removed after it's been tasted, but I feel that's pretty impossible to truly keep track of. And being trapped in a small elevator where people have licked the walls does not sound like fun to me!
What do you think of the cookie-flavored wallpaper? Would you ever try it or let your kids try it?
