Rihanna not only gave an emotional performance of her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack during Sunday’s 95th Academy Awards ceremony, she also managed to look stunning in three different outfits that showed off her baby bump. The singer and business mogul, who went public with her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, wowed all with her exquisite maternity style.

Rihanna is a living fashion icon and we loved how she dressed during her first pregnancy. When Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their firstborn, a baby boy, in May 2022, we were kind of sad that we wouldn’t get to see more of Rihanna’s maternity looks. Little did we know that she would be pregnant again so soon and that she would be performing while pregnant at the 2023 Oscars. She wore brown on the champagne carpet.
This year the Academy Awards featured a champagne—think fancy name for beige—carpet instead of a red carpet. Rihanna graced that boring carpet with a very non-boring brown on brown look by Alaïa. She wore a dark brown leather bra and maxi skirt over a sheer mesh turtle neck in the same color. Instead of looking like three different pieces, it all came together looking like one lovely gown with sheer detailing and cutouts. Her hair was piled on top of her head in a fun messy bun.
For her performance she wore Maison Margiela.
She took the stage wearing a bedazzled bra with sheer straps and dangling strands of crystals that fell gracefully over her baby bump. On the bottom she wore ornate black pants embroidered with a golden floral design. She accessorized with black leather opera-length gloves and bold diamond jewelry.
Her performance was so touching.
You could hear the emotion in her voice and how it was hitting everyone there. She looked confident and sounded incredible. It’s no surprise that everyone in attendance appeared to be genuinely moved be her vocals and the emotions they conveyed.
After her performance, she wore Bottega Veneta.
When she joined the audience at the Oscars, she changed into a custom-made seafoam ensemble that put her baby bump on full display. The materials used to create the look included shearling, silk, and leather. Also, can we please take a moment to appreciate how happy and doting A$AP Rocky is in her presence?

She was caught on video arriving at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles wearing an oversized Eagles T-shirt as a dress, black Vans on her feet, a green bucket hat, and a green shoulder bag. She looked comfy, cute, and casual.
