All of Jennifer Lopez’s wedding dresses throughout the years

Jennifer Lopez can wear the heck out of any dress, and that includes wedding dresses, which she’s worn a heck of a lot. The reason why she’s worn so many bridal gowns is because she’s been married a few times and has played a bride in multiple movies. Her past husbands are Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony. Her current hubby is Ben Affleck, whom she has married twice now—once on July 6, 2022 in a spur of the moment Vegas wedding and then again in an elaborate wedding on August 20, 2022. For her last two weddings—both to Ben—she wore a total of five dresses.

Add those five to the previous three and we’re up to a count of eight wedding dresses worn in real life—and that’s not counting the ones she’s worn in movies or the one that she wore on Halloween one year. If you include those, now the count is up in the double digits. How many people you do you know who can say they’ve worn the heck out of over a dozen bridal gowns? Probably zero to none. And since it’s so rare, let’s take a look at all the wedding dresses Jennifer Lopez has worn in real life and on screen. Let’s work our way backward, starting with the most recent dresses.

Behold one of the three custom looks Jen wore for her August 2022 wedding.

For the wedding celebration that Señor and Señora Affleck hosted at Ben’s 87-acre compound near Savannah, Georgia, she wore three different dresses. All three of her custom gowns were created by Ralph Lauren. According to Vogue, over 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 meters of fabric were used in the making of this turtle-neck column dress that was worn with a cathedral-length veil, which is just a fancy way of saying a crazy long veil.

Behold look No. 2 of the Georgia wedding celebration.

The chandelier pearl gown pictured is described as “a celebration of everlasting love, as symbolized by one of Ralph Lauren’s favorite accessories —a string of pearls.” It took 30 artisans 700 hours to create this exquisite wearable art.

Look No. 3 was simple in comparison.

No billowing ruffles made of handkerchiefs, no dangling pearls, but certainly not basic or plain in any way, shape, or form. The dress features a plunging neckline, exquisite embroidery and an organza piece that is worn over the head and can be removed.

For the ‘surprise’ Las Vegas wedding there were two dresses.

The first, an understated sleeveless Alexander McQueen design made of floral jacquard. “I’ve had this dress for so many years, and I’ve just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day,” Jennifer revealed.

Her second Vegas look was an off-the-shoulder lacy number.

The Zuhair Murad bridal collection dress has long sleeves, a long train, and a corseted bodice. To go with the dress, the bride wore a veil on top of her long, cascading wavy hair. Ben wore a white tux jacket, black pants, and a black bowtie.

The dress she wears in ‘Shotgun Wedding’ goes through the wringer.

Jen and Josh Duhamel star in Shotgun Wedding. From images she’s shared online, it looks like she spends quite a bit of time in a corseted cream-colored gown that gets a beating as she wears it doing things other than getting married.

Her dress from ‘Marry Me’ is dazzling.

In the movie, Jen plays singer Kat Valdez, who is supposed to get married on stage in a Zuhair Murad Couture gown covered in embroidery and shimmering decorations with a matching veil. She looks like a Disney princess in it.

For Halloween 2020, Jen dressed like a virgin.

OK, not really. She dressed like Madonna did back in 1984 for the MTV Music Awards when she performed “Like a Virgin” in what was considered at the time to be a scandalous version of a wedding dress.

She was already married to Marc Anthony when she married him in a movie.

Jennifer was in the movie El Cantante with Marc Anthony. The movie is about the late salsa singer Héctor Lavoe. In the movie, Jen played his wife, Puchi, and wore a lace design with an empire waist and long veil.

In ‘Monster in Law,’ she got into a fight while wearing a wedding dress.

The dress featured in the movie is a Saeyoung Vu Couture gown paired with matching long gloves and a long veil. There’s a funny scene where Jen and Jane Fonda’s characters duke it out in bridal gowns.

When she married Marc Anthony in real life, she went for a strapless look.

Jennifer and Marc were married on June 5, 2004, in the backyard of her Los Angeles home. Somehow, paparazzi found a way to photograph as she was celebrating in a strapless Vera Wang gown. Jen and Marc’s divorce was finalized on June 16, 2014.

The movie ‘Enough’ was not a happily-ever-after kind of movie.

The movie is a thriller and Jen’s character marries the wrong guy. Although, she married the wrong guy, she did it in a really pretty dress with beaded spaghetti straps. I mean, it’s not the dress's fault that the guy ended up being horrible.

Remember when she married Cris Judd?

They met while working together on one of her videos in 2000. Cris is a dancer and choreographer. They tried to keep the location of their 2001 wedding a secret, but someone tipped off the paps, who got pics of Jen wearing a lacy white Valentino dress. They divorced in 2003.

For ‘The Wedding Planner’ she showed off her shoulders.

In the 2001 movie, Jen wore a dress with a boat neck that showcased her lovely shoulders. Her hair was pulled up and covered with a pillbox hat with attached polka dot veil. Her neck was adorned with a simple necklace.

Her first wedding was to Ojani Noa.

They met in Miami while she was filming and he was working in a restaurant and caught her eye. They dated for a few years and tied the knot in 1997. Jen wore a simple white lace gown, with spaghetti straps. The got divorced in 1998.
