They are all stunning. Some are simpler than others. A bunch you could try recreating on your own. Or you can ask your nail tech to re-create them. What they all have in common is they will make you feel like you’ve got a bit of autumn on your fingertips at all times. Perhaps you’ll find one look that you wear the entire season or maybe you’ll want to work your way through all of these. Check ‘em out and be prepared to fall in love with their autumnal vibes!

Kylie Jenner did a thing that works for fall.

Her muted orange-tipped nails with translucent drops on them would look great in the summer or fall. Orange is a color that works for both seasons. This look would work without the translucent drops and on shorter nails as well.

Switch it up with different colors.

Pick two different shades that you love and use one shade for each hand. The example we’re sharing is kind of awesome because the shades almost clash with each other, but also somehow totally work together when they are on separate hands.

How about a white that’s not quite so white?

White nail polish might not be your go-to for autumn nails, but what if you go for a not so white, not so bright white. Think of it as transitioning to a winter white color, if you will. It makes a simple yet very noticeable statement.

Why choose matte or gloss when you can do both?

We love love this idea of finishing off matte nails with a glossy tip in the same shade. For autumn this look works with browns, wines, and any dark jewel tone. But if you want to rock it in a color that isn’t traditionally associated with fall, go for it!

Matte and glossy gradient nails work well.

Color gradient nails are here to stay, regardless of the season. This fall, do a gradient look with matte colors on your nail beds and finish the tips off with a glossy top coat to provide subtle contrast. It gives off a French nail manicure vibe with a gradient twist.

Nudes with a message.

At first glance, these just look like nude nails with swirly gold and silver decorations, but if you look closely, they are abstract nudes on nude nails. The designs on these nails meant to be an ode to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is in nude. They are a great conversation starter, for sure.

Go for a glossy black.

A glossy black on short nails looks incredible. It’s simple, neat, and at this point has become as classic as a little black dress. You could also opt for a very dark brown shade for a similar effect.

Tortoiseshell nails are gorgeous.

Have you ever tried a tortoise shell design on your nails? If so, bring it back this fall. If not, there is no better time than the present to give this trend a whirl. Combined with negative space on the nails, it looks intriguing.

Opt for dark jewel tones.

Dark jewel tones in autumn are perfection. It doesn’t matter if you opt for glossy or matte because either work. You could do all your nails in one dark jewel tone or each nail in its very own dark jewel tone.

Be inspired by nature.

The reason that so many people love fall is because of the change in weather and the visible changes in nature. Leaves turn all shades of gold, brown, and orange. Why not give those colors and leaves a shoutout on your nails?

Catch all the falling leaves on your nails.

There are so many different ways to depict the falling leaves of fall. You can do a solid creamy color background and add orange and brown leaves on top. Honestly, the possibilities are endless.

An ode to candy corn that you’ll want to keep past Halloween.

As fun as Halloween-inspired nails can be, once Halloween is over they can look kind of passé. That’s not the case when it comes to these candy corn-inspired nails, though. They look bright and fresh before, during, and after Halloween.

Or you could do a whole sunset situation.

If candy corn isn’t to your taste, but you like he whole orange vibes kind of thing, go for sunset-inspired nails instead. The way these nails transition from orange to red is sublime. You might end up wanting to rock this trend all season long.

Try a spicy ripple with icing effect.

Use this tutorial to try out a ripple effect on your nails using spicy colors that resemble cinnamon, nutmeg, or ginger. Add a thin line of off-white and it almost looks like icing on gingerbread. Just don’t bite your nails afterward.

Add some golden glittering glamor to your tips.

Gold glitter on the tips of dark, rich-colored nails is beyond dreamy. It looks luxe and is actually something that you can do at home for yourself if you don’t have time to get a professional manicure.
