Wide-leg pants as worn by Karla Martínez.
There is no way you haven't noticed that wide-leg and super-wide-leg pants are having a moment. Well, that moment is going to continue through fall and winter. So, if you have a pair, find ways to style them for the colder months. If you don't yet own a pair but have been wanting some, now is the time to treat yo' self.
Wide-leg pants come in many varieties.
If you want to stick to jeans, the Gap has quite a few options, like these pleated ones, but the store also carries wide-leg pants that aren't jeans, so look around and see which appeal to you the most, or get a couple of pairs.
Booties as worn by Alejandra Espinoza.
It will come as no surprise that booties are back for fall and winter. We love Alejandra Espinoza's take on the trend with a stretchy version that looks great with dresses and skirts of all lengths.
If you like the look, try Everlane's The High-Ankle Glove Boot.
They come in three color choices, fit like a glove, and give you a bit of height with a thick stacked heel. Again, you can wear them with skirts and dresses, but they'll work with pants as well.
Jumpsuits as worn by Francisca Lachapel.
Jumpsuits are such a great one-and-done getting-dressed option. What makes Francisca's jumpsuit great for fall and winter is that it's dressy enough that you can wear it to any parties you may be attending for the holidays.
We're in love with this Divine Dream One-Shoulder Satin Jumpsuit.
The navy blue color in satin looks elegant and that one exposed shoulder shows a little skin without being risqué. We can see this look standing the test of time, too. It's a lovely silhouette that won't get dated quickly.
Loafers are so in this season
This model is wearing her chain-embellished loafers with socks, and it looks so cool. If that's not your thing, opt for no socks or no-show socks. Loafers have been on-trend for a while now, but they are classics that never really go out of style.
Try a faux-leather chunky-heel loafer.
You will not have a hard time finding loafers on the market at the moment since they are so of the moment. This particular version features a chunky heel and is on the less-expensive side of the price range.
Dresses and boots as worn by Eva Longoria.
Loving the sass that Eva is serving up! She looks great in a short dress with over-the-knee boots. Feel free to steal her look or do a variation on it. You could go with a longer dress and a shorter boot, for example.
Why not try a sweater dress with boots?
There are many dresses that look great with boots, but since fall and winter are sweater-weather seasons, why not opt for a sweater dress? This one looks great with booties or boots.
Block-heeled boots that are actually made for walking.
This Liz Claiborne over-the-knee boots feature a heel that makes them easy to walk in, and what mom on the go doesn't appreciate that? Also, they are very reasonably priced, and what mom doesn't appreciate that, as well?
Leather or suede skirts as worn by Francia Raisa.
Francia looks gorgeous in her leather skirt with a slit and a cute cropped sweater. This look can work for so many occasions. Also, keep in mind that leather and faux leather skirts come in so many different cuts.
This A-line faux leather skirt can be dressed up or down.
A-line skirts tend to be a little easier to walk in than pencil skirts. This version is made of faux leather, but if you really want one in actual leather, there are tons to be found, so do a quick search and you're sure to find so many options.
Shackets as worn by Jennifer Lopez.
Shackets are still going strong—just ask J.Lo. They might not ever go away, either, because who doesn't love the feel of a shirt with the warmth of a jacket when the weather cools down? A good shacket makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.
