It's the biggest and most glamorous night in Hollywood. The 91st Academy Awards went down on Sunday, February 24, and the stars dazzled in some of the most gorgeous gowns we've ever seen! The Oscar winners and nominees walked down the red carpet looking like absolute royalty, wearing some breathtaking designs. One of the best parts was that some of our most beloved Latinos walked the carpet looking ravishing and making us so proud.

The cast of Roma dressed to the nines and chose extremely flattering dresses that were a real hit on and off the carpet. Yalitza Aparicio, who was nominated in the Actress in a Leading Role category for the Alfonso Cuarón film, chose designer Rodarte to style her for her big night, and she looked like a true fairy-tale princess. Everything from the one-shoulder design to the color fit her so perfectly. Marina de Tavira provided the perfect contrast by wearing a gorgeous red strapless dress by J. Mendel that was an absolute dream.
There were also, of course, some misses on the carpet, and some stars who took it way too far for the award show. Yalitza Aparicio looked like a real-life Cinderella.
Yalitza has been having such an incredible fashion moment while she's been promoting Roma, and she didn't miss at the Oscars. She wore a gorgeous chiffon gown by Rodarte, and it was covered in rhinestones. The teal gown was soft and delicate and suited her perfectly.
Jennifer Lopez doesn't know how to wear a bad dress.
There might be some sort of formula for how J.Lo chooses her dresses for red carpet events. She doesn't miss! We love the fabric of this gown and that even though she's completely covered from head to toe, she's still the sexiest woman on the carpet.
Of course, Alex Rodriguez was there by her side.
And he looked just as good as his girl! Alex opted for a white-and-black tuxedo, sporting a gorgeous white blazer, and the pair were just too stunning to be true.
Marina de Tavira looked dazzling in a red gown.
The Mexican beauty, nominated for best supporting actress for her role in Alfonso Cuarón's Roma, wore a cherry-colored J. Mendel gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. It's safe to say her Oscars red carpet debut was a smash.
Nancy García García also chose red like her "Roma" costar.
The actress, who played Adela in the film, wore a beautiful and simple red gown with a train and paired it with matching high-heeled sandals.
Diego Luna was proud to represent his people at the show.
The Mexican actor looked incredible in his tuxedo. When he was interviewed by Variety, he reflected how things have changed since the first time he attended the Oscars. “I’m really happy to be here this year,” he told the outlet. “I’m hearing Spanish all around, which is lovely. I’m seeing family members, you know, like people I grew up working with. I remember the first time I did this, I didn’t know anyone, I was with Gael [García Bernal]. No one wanted to interview us."
Alfonso Cuarón returned to the carpet with his squad.
The Mexican director brought two of his kids, Tess and Olmo, along for the ride, and the family looked so dapper together.
Lady Gaga was the living, breathing definition of old Hollywood glam.
The Alexander McQueen black gown she wore fit her like a dream and made her look like a billion dollars. But that huge yellow diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co. was a beauty.
Javier Bardem went for an all-black look.
The Spaniard cleans up nicely! He wore a black jacket with incredible details and paired it with a black shirt and pants. The shaved look looks great on him!
Michael B. Jordan pulled the sweetest move on the carpet.
Not only did he look so incredibly good in this tux, with a gorgeous navy blue jacket, but the Black Panther star did the cutest thing ever and chose to bring his mom, Donna, as his date for the big night.
Constance Wu wore the most beautiful shade of yellow.
The Crazy Rich Asians star livened up the red carpet in a flowy, off-the-shoulder yellow dress. She wore her hair in an elegant ponytail and kept her makeup subtle.
Jennifer Hudson was glowing in red.
The Oscar winner looked unreal! This red gown with the sleeveless design was so gorgeous and looked like it was perfectly made for her.
Charlize Theron always leaves us in awe on the carpet.
Charlize is known for her gorgeous gowns at every award show she attends. She wore this stunning light blue dress that provided full coverage in the front, but the backless design was breathtaking.
Spike Lee kept his personality on the carpet.
The Oscar-nominated director dressed up in his own way and stayed true to himself for the awards. He wore a bright purple suit paired with a pair of custom-made Air Jordan 3s to the show, where he was nominated three times for his film BlacKkKlansman.
Emma Stone wore Louis Vuitton on the carpet.
The Favourite actress wore a copper Louis Vuitton gown with an interesting design, and people were not feeling it on Twitter. But we can forget this look because she's the sweetest. Before the show she sent flowers and a sweet note to her competition in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role category: Roma's Marina de Tavira. “Congratulations! It’s a huge honor to be nominated alongside you. Have an incredible night!! XOX, Emma Stone,” the note read.
The "Black Panther" cast dressed to impress.
Michael B. Jordan, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, and director Ryan Coogler and wife Zinzi Evans posed for cast photos on the carpet, and they all looked like royalty.
Tessa Thompson's glam was stunning.
She wore her curly hair slicked back and showed off her subtle and stunning makeup. Her multilayered dress was a bit ill-fitting on the gorgeous star, but it was definitely different from the other looks on the carpet.
Helen Mirren does not disappoint.
The actress exudes class and sophistication, and this hot pink gown made her look so beautiful and timeless.
Chadwick Boseman decided to skip the regular tux.
The Black Panther star instead chose a more unconventional look and wore wide-legged trousers with a blue-and-black sequined jacket.
Regina King looked like an angel in all white.
The actress already won when she arrived on the red carpet looking so heavenly. She also took home the best supporting actress award for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk.
Tina Fey wore the most eye-grabbing shade of blue.
The actress' strapless design and the color of the dress were so flattering on her, and the blue was the perfect contrast to the red carpet.
