The world's obsession with the Kardashians doesn't seem to be dying down any time soon. The famous family has been on TV with their show Keeping Up With the Kardashians since 2007, which helped them build a billion dollar empire thanks to everything from brand partnerships to cosmetics lines. It is easy to get caught up in their mystique and Jennifer Pamplona, a 26-year-old Brazilian woman, is a prime example. According to the Daily Mail, she is testing the limits of what it means to keep up with the famous family by getting 30 surgeries to look like Kim Kardashian.

Going under the knife to morph into Kim or one of her sisters isn't a new trend. Women have been shelling out small fortunes and putting their lives at risk to become a Kardashian doppelgänger for years and it can pay off big time. Many of them become social media influencers with hundreds of thousands of followers. Brands that can't afford to hire a Kardashian can still capitalize on their popularity by working with look-alikes. It sounds disturbing, but looking like Kim can be a viable business.
That has been the case for Jennifer. The former Versace model has amassed nearly 300,000 followers on Instagram alone! Just like Kim, she has her own cosmetics line and a reality TV show in the works. It sounds amazing but Jennifer has put her life in danger to get the look that made her famous. She has had eight butt surgeries, four ribs removed, and more. It was a lot for her body to handle and several doctors have refused to operate on her, which has led her to "retire" from the operating room. Today Jennifer looks nothing like herself. It has been a long road to her final look and her transformation shock you.
Jennifer started getting plastic surgery when she was 17 years old.
Her first procedure was a breast augmentation to overcome being bullied in school over her petite body.
She became fixated on becoming a human Barbie doll to cope with her boyfriend’s untimely death.
His name was Celso Santebanes and he was known as a "human Ken doll." Jennifer went into depression after he died from Leukemia when he was only 20 years old. "I found that plastic surgery took me out of depression, whenever I had something done I became so happy and everything became perfect,” she said in an interview last year.
Her transformation was supposedly his dying wish.
That is so sad!
Jennifer took her quest for perfection into overdrive in 2015.
She was offered an opportunity to get nine surgeries in one day for a TV show. According to the Mirror, she had "four ribs removed, breast implants, liposuction, a rhinoplasty, butt fillers and more" over a 24 hour period.
Her goal is to look like Kim but with a bigger butt.
"I want to have a butt even bigger than Kim Kardashian, I want to make everything look like her,” she said in an interview.
Jennifer's friends thought she was being unrealistic.
"Some of my friends don't understand it, they tell my body type is too small to be like Kim Kardashian but I'll keep fighting doctors to get it looking like hers," she said.
She has had 30 surgeries over the course of three years!
The Daily Mail reported that the total includes eight butt enhancements, two procedures to remove a total of four ribs, two breast augmentations, two rhinoplasties, two rounds of liposuction, cheek fillers, lip fillers, veneers, thigh enhancement, removal of cheek fillers, and two types of face lifts.
The amount of money she has spent on her surgeries will shock you.
According to the Daily Mail, all of this work cost $550,000!
She may be happy with her look now but getting there wasn't easy.
Jennifer had butt implants that affected her circulation, which could have killed her. "The implants can be so dangerous if there is a leak and also there is risk of infection," she said. "No doctor wanted to perform surgery on my butt, five of them refused, they warned I could die or suffer a dangerous infection."
Jennifer has recently sung the praises of a surgeon based in Turkey.
"I am so proud of you Dr. @bulentcihantimur you having a been work so hard for all of your dreams come true," she wrote in May. "And you deserve it [all]! You make so many people happy. Thank you for [taking] care of my health, beauty, and soul. Can’t wait to show for the world what we did.”

She was over the moon over her tiny waist.
Her last surgery was her eighth butt enhancement.
According to the Daily Mail, it was enlarged with two pounds of fat that were removed through liposuction.
And that wasn’t all.
Jennifer also had surgery to give her sharper cheekbones and two more ribs removed.
The recovery was brutal.
"When I woke up after surgery this time I felt so cold and very sick, it was like my body was finally asking me to stop," she said. Jennifer couldn’t sit for a month because of the pain!
Jennifer claims that she is finally done with plastic surgery after her last experience.
We hope that's true.
The transformation has been so drastic that her own family didn’t recognize her at one point.
"I looked so different after my surgeries, when my mother and grandmother saw me they didn't recognize me–it was really shocking for them but to me, I was perfect," Jennifer said in an interview.
People became concerned about her mental health.
"Before people thought I was crazy, because I was beautiful and wanted plastic surgery," she said. "They thought I had lost my mind and that I was crazy because my boyfriend passed away, they were very hard on me and never accepted who I wanted to be."
Jennifer acknowledges that she was addicted to plastic surgery.
"I never imagined myself doing so many surgeries but I've become addicted to this lifestyle, not in a bad way though, because in my eyes it makes everything perfect,” she told the Mirror.
The surgeries that made her resemble Kim gave her the fame she desired.
"I wanted to look like her and as the world began to see how much I looked like Kim Kardashian-West, I would have more and more surgeries," she told the Daily Mail. "Every time I had a new surgery I would feel happy, beautiful and recognised–that feeling of being famous."
People want to take pictures with her just because she looks like Kim.
"I feel that I look like a Kardashian now, my butt is very big right now and wherever I go everyone wants a picture with me," she said.
Jennifer plans to continue to capitalize on her results.
She is already a TV personality and has her own makeup line called Jennifer Pamplona Cosmetics.
She has her sights set on the entertainment industry.
Jennifer is currently working on a music career and plans to release a documentary about her plastic surgery story next year.
