"Today, on my 32nd birthday I feel more confident than ever," she captioned the gorgeous Instagram pic, on Wednesday, June 13. "I never understood why people were so afraid of getting older. Age is an opportunity to evolve and become better!"
She looks super confident in the unedited photo, striking a fierce pose and showing off the stretch marks on her belly. While Photoshop and altering pics is the industry standard in the fashion world, it's awesome to see someone be so unfiltered in front of the world.
She showed her fans her real self.
The birthday girl showed off her curves on her big day in a gorgeous purple bra and undies set. She opted out of Photoshopping the Snap, showing off her body exactly as it is.
Denise started her b-day off right.
She got ready for the day with a fresh blow out. She showed herself makeup-free while getting her hair done in a video on her Instagram Story.
The model encourages women to love themselves all year round.
This isn't the first time the body positivity activist makes it a point to show off her body exactly as it is. She shared a photo in May wearing a set from Rihanna's lingerie line SAVAGE X FENTY and absolutely rocked it!
She never shies away from wearing a bikini.
While she can absolutely slay a one-piece, the model rocks a two-piece bathing suit like no other.
Denise knows there's no wrong way to be a woman.
Her goal is to show women everywhere that there's no wrong way to be a woman, and she does so in part to be a great example for her 10-year-old daughter, Jocelyn.
She will continue fighting for the cause.
She previously spoke to MamásLatinas in 2017 about the importance of body positivity. She debunked the myth that just because someone is curvy it doesn’t mean that they are unhealthy. The plus-size model revealed that her reason for fighting for body positivity is to allow “people to be whatever they want to be.”
