A group of some of Hollywood's best-dressed stars got together at the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards ceremony on Monday, June 4 in New York City. The celebrities walked the 2018 CFDAs red carpet wearing designs from some of the most recognized names in fashion for the event, which is known as the Oscars of fashion.

Celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Rosario Dawson, Alessandra Ambrosio among others, gave their fans updates before the event. The stars shared photos and videos of them arriving in New York City, as well as behind-the-scenes looks at their getting ready process on social media.
Actress Issa Rae hosted the big event, becoming the first woman of color to emcee the awards ceremony. Supermodel Naomi Campbell was given this year's Fashion Icon award, which was previously given to Rihanna in 2014 and Beyonce in 2016. Donatella Versace was recognized with this year's International Award, and Carolina Herrera was given The Founder's Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert.
Kim became the first recipient of the CFDA Influencer Award.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star arrived at the event to claim her award in a curve-hugging, two-piece white ensemble designed by Rick Owens. "I'm kind of shocked that I'm winning a fashion award when I'm naked most of the time," the reality TV star quipped during her acceptance speech.
Her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were also there showing support.
Kourtney arrived at the event with her sister wearing a black, sparkly pansuit with a plunging neckline.
Kendall Jenner showed up to show her big sister some love.
The supermodel had some fun with her outfit. She wore a lavender Alexandre Vauthie dress, that was fully covered in feathers.
J Balvin was also in attendance representing Latinos.
The Colombian singer, who has been making a name for himself in the fashion world, attended the event with designer Mike Amiri. The "Ambiente" crooner shared an Instagram pic before heading to the CFDAs and captioned it: "On the way to the @cfda awards with my friend @mikeamiri."
Alessandra was a beautiful lady in red.
The Brazilian supermodel stunned on the red carpet wearing a red, sequined minidress by Tommy Hilfiger.
Rosario Dawson headed to the event straight from London.
Rosario touched down in NYC for just 17 hours to attend the event. She looked stunning in a long, black gown by Maison de Mode.
Lupita Nyong'o looked drop dead gorgeous at the event.
The Mexican-born actress looked unreal in a black and white, Versace strapless minidress, which highlighted her incredibly toned arms.
Camila Mendes had some fun after the event.
The Riverdale actress stunned in a fun dress by Reem Acra. She shared a post on Instagram thanking the designer. "Flew in from space for the CFDA fashion awards last night, wearing @reem_acra thank you @instagram@evachen212 for an incredible night!" she captioned the post.
