The singer's first beauty line debuted last September, and the Fenty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife —a fabulous yellow-gold shade— quickly became a favorite among beauty editors and bloggers. The highlighter was also on full display at the singer's Fenty PUMA SS18 show during New York Fashion Week, where models wore it across the cheekbones and on the inner corner of each eye.

Gold highlighter will reign supreme this season.

From Cleopatra eyeliner to white liquid liner slashed across the lower lashline and half-baked graphic cat-eye, unusual eyeliner is one of the biggest makeup trends this season. I love how sexy and edgy Eiza González looks with a very thin line across her upper lids that goes beyond the outer corners of her eyes.

After the absolute reign of matte lipstick in 2017, the gloss is coming back.

"A healthy glow finish on skin is in instead of matte caked or powdery finish," says celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta, who works with Bella Hadid, Camila Cabello and Emily Ratajkowski. To get this look, choose an illuminating, lightweight foundation or beauty balm and apply it using a damp beauty blender or sponge. Then, apply a soft pink or peach cream-based blush and blend it well using a beauty sponge or your fingers. Finish up with a very subtle touch of shimmery highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones and brow bones, over your cupid's bow, down the center and on the tip of your nose, and around your temples. Apply brown or bronze eyeshadow and brown liner and top off your look with a couple of coats of mascara. 

But before thinking of buying new makeup, start by taking care of your skin by applying more face masks and moisturizing products. This will give you a naturally glowy skin.

Highlighting the inner corner of the eyes is a tried-and-true brightening technique among celebrity makeup artists. But this season, besides using shades like Champagne or white to highlight this area, makeup artists are also going for fun pops of color such as pink, orange, and even baby blue. So get ready to see more of this trend on the red carpet and on the streets.

Bright eyeshadow palettes and lipticks are going to be huge this season. But I'm not talking about wearing bright everything at the same time. No! "Color is back instead of all neutral monochromatic, but used in a clean way, not the over-the-top '80s way," says celeb makeup artist Patrick Ta.

Think a peachy liquid blush swept across the cheekbones, a hint of tinted lip balm swiped across lips, and a coat of mascara.

"Go for less makeup and more skin, rather than the over-contoured look," advises makeup artist Patrick Ta. So, start by putting away your heavy foundation and opt for a tinted moisturizer.

We saw different shades of pink eyeshadow at many of the Spring/Summer 2018 shows, including Valentino and Badgley Mischka. So, if you buy only one shadow this season, make sure it's pink. Als, consider a hot pink shade, like the one worn by Puerto Rican supermodel Joan Smalls.

Blue eye makeup is going to be everywhere this season. So, make sure to have your blue eyeliner and glittery shadow in hand.

If you're tired of having to run to the eyebrow salon every so often, I have great news for you. This season, it is totally okay to embrace your natural brows and go weeks without plucking them. Yes, for real! Models showed off their fuller brows at the different SS18 shows, including Tory Burch and Tadashi Shoji. Think Cara Delevingne's brows.

This trend was huge last year, with just about every celebrity rocking it on the red carpet, and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. This is a great way of inject a pop of color into your look, and you don't even need any makeup skills. All you have to do is use your a shadow or liner in a bright shade to line your bottom lashline.

I love the glittery black eyeliner we saw on the FENDI and Tom Ford SS18 shows! For the Tom Ford runway, makeup artist Pat McGrath first drew the thick shape with a black liquid liner, and then used an eye gloss as glue to help the glittery eyeshadow stick.
