One of actress Salma Hayek's trademarks is her long, thick, dark hair. The woman has gorgeous tresses and has been rocking them proudly with very little change-up since her earliest days in the spotlight. But the 51-year-old isn't afraid to shake things up a bit. She often has fun with her looks, wearing quirky fashions and ultra-glitzy styles whenever she pleases. But, in the past year or so, she's also been having a bit of fun with those trademark locks. The silver-white ombre waves she's sporting were for a new film she's in with Alexander Skarsgard and Jesse Eisenberg.
She surprised everyone when she went blonde for a night.
Back in September Salma's glam squad hooked her up with a blonde bob wig for the Altazurra fashion show that she attended, for which she also wore a stunning hot pink outfit. She documented the transormation on Instagram. Must have been fun!
Her hair has changed naturally too.
Not too long ago, Salma shared a nearly makeup-free selfie that showed off her natural, dark hair complete with all of her newly acquired greys. Many were surprised that she felt comfortable showing a sign of aging.

While filming her movie Beatriz for Dinner, Salma sported super-short pixie bangs and long dark waves. It was a minor change, with a lot of shock value.
She's even gone pink.
Not too long ago, Salma turned heads when she stepped out for the Women in Motion Awards in Cannes with shiny, pale pink waves. Though the untraditional hue was eye-catching, it totally worked with the Old Hollywood look she was going for.
