We were hyped after learning that Selena Gomez was going to perform at the 2017 American Music Awards. She hit the red carpet showing off a sleek blonde bob and, honestly, we're digging it!

Selena has been showing off a whole side of herself these past couple of weeks. Since her split from The Weeknd, she's been spending extra time with her on-and-off-again ex, Justin Bieber, and seems happier and more confident than ever. She hit the red carpet rocking a blonde bob, that was achieved with the help of celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri and celeb colorist Nikki Lee from Nine Zero One Salon, by the way.
Selena looked all kinds of badass with her blonde hair and her black leather mini dress that featured silver zippers. Her new look is totally reflective of where she is in life right now: Mature, sophisticated, and total boss babe.
We're surprised she hasn't done this sooner. This '90s grunge á la Nirvana blonde bob is working wonders for her!

One thing for sure, 2018 is definitely going to be Selena's comeback year. Between her new music, breakup, surgery, and rekindling things with The Biebz, she definitely seems to be in a good and empowering place.
