Quite a few fashion brands have taken a strong stance against airbrushing models, and it looks like UK clothing brand Missguided is the latest. In fact, they recently revealed that they will no longer Photoshopping their images and are even leaving features like stretch marks visible in the photos. This is a huge deal!

There's a reason why women and young girls are so hard on themselves when it comes to their physical appearance. It's because when the only images of women you see consist of flawless, skinny white models, it's hard to appreciate your own unique features. But brands are really starting to recognize the importance of doing away with Photoshopping and showing real women the way they are.
This new Missguided campaign is nothing less than inspiring. The beautiful models reveal a whole bunch of normal–emphasis on normal–body features like stretch marks, arm hair and even moles. It's wonderful!

Stretch marks used to be something that brought women shame. It was something they felt they had to get rid of or at least cover. But now women are realizing that stretch marks are just a normal part of our bodies that we don't actually need to be ashamed of. It's images like this that help us to realize that.
