From September 7 to the 13, high fashion took over the city of New York as we celebrated New York Fashion Week. Some of the most important fashion brands showed their upcoming Spring/Summer 2018 Ready-to-Wear collections, giving us a sneak peek of what trends will reign in the upcoming seasons. Here are our favorite looks from brands like Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Prabal Gurung, Carolina Herrera and much more.

This year, Oscar de la Renta's sophisticated style got a fun makeover. The latest collection hails from the designer duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, who took over the brand's creative direction last year. Their designs are fun, youthful and colorful, but still very Oscar de la Renta.
Carolina Herrera's runway was full of bold colors and feminine silhouettes. "I did big shoulders, tiny waists, and a lot of movement in the skirt," the designer said of her collection backstage.

Carolina Herrera gave us life with different shades of yellow.

I loved Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen's designs! "We wanted something softer, more romantic. With everything so harsh, we wanted to take it down, show lightness," Ashley said of the collection.
