Even though she got her natural curls back, the Basketball Wives star enjoys versatility of also wearing her hair straight. She protects her curls by always applying a heat-protectant spray like KeraCare Thermal Wonder 6-in-1 Thermal Protector ($13) before styling.

Her hair looks so healthy.

Evelyn also swears by KeraCare’s Thermal Wonder Pre-Poo Conditioner ($3) and Cream Cleansing Shampoo ($9), which work to enhance moisture and prevent dryness.

As much as she loves wearing her hair straight, Evelyn doesn’t always heat-style. She spends a fair amount of time airing drying her natural curls and letting them be. You gotta let those curls if you want to keep them healthy.

She does protective styling.

Protective styles like braids or corn rows are a great way to protect curls from breakage.

Her cut might have had a lot to do with this healthy transition.

Evelyn went shorter earlier this year and it looks like it made all the difference when it came to the health of her hair and getting back her curls.

She only sticks to good products.

She’s admitted to using SheaMoisture on her curls and apparently is big on taking care of her edges.

If you notice the ends were a lot more on the wavy side. The cut really did transform those curls.
