There's been a lot of hype around beauty oils recently, all thanks to Instagram. Makeup lovers and skincare addicts went bonkers when IG beauty guru Farah Dhukai and her husband released their now-famous Farsali Rose Gold Elixir beauty oil, created with 24-karat gold flakes, that's meant to leave skin radiant and moisturized. Practically every chick on social was swearing by it. Beauty oils have become such a must-have skin care product these days, that brands continue to release new ones. So when I learned that a fellow Latina entrepreneur had also gotten into the beauty oil game, I was beyond excited. Aamilah Vilchez's new Royal Treatment 24K Gold Infused Beauty Oil is everything your skin has been looking for and more.

Vilchez is a 29-year-old Muslim Latina born and raised in New York City. The half Nicaraguan, half Dominican has always been on her hustle. Her creative and business skills have made her destined to be an entrepreneur.
She started off her career in fashion design working for designer Betsey Johnson and later created her own women's fashion line and boutique in Harlem, New York. The line was called Vilchez and it included all custom clothing, which was eventually featured in everything from music videos, red carpets, to even reality shows. And while she's currently in the process of rebranding to target a more modest client, Vilchez has recently embarked on a beauty business that's quite impressive.

Created with her husband, Vilchez launched Aamilah and King, a collection of natural and luxury beauty oils, designed to leave skin and hair looking all kinds of flawless.
"I was looking for natural ways to solve my own skin and hair issues," she told us recently. "After lots of research and trying different products, I knew I needed to create something that did not exist."
Like many of the other beauty oils out there, Vilchez's is formulated with a blend of oils that includes everything from 24K gold, vitamin E, rose hip oil, pumpkin oil and orange peel oil. It also contains lavender oil (which explains the delicious scent), jojoba oil, argan oil, black seed oil, vitamin A and vitamin C. If it's good for your skin, it's in this oil.

Men can use it too. In fact, Vilchez recommends they use it as a beard oil. What's even more impressive than the oil itself, is knowing that a Latina is behind it all.
"Being a Latina entrepreneur is wonderful because we are so diverse. We can speak to all skin colors, all hair textures, and all walks of life," Vilchez adds. "We cater to all types of people. That's powerful. The world needs Latinos because of our ability to be everything at once."
