Highlighters have not only taken over Instagram, but they've practically replaced our precious bronzers and blushes. I honestly can't remember the last time I've swiped blush across my cheek bones–and I LOVE blush! So you can only imagine my excitement when I learned there's a new blush hue that's trending and it's yellow. Yes, yellow.

The ladies on Instagram have been experimenting with yellow blush and I'm telling you, it actually looks kind of dope. Think golden cheeks–only yellow. Best part is that it seems to work on all skin tones, from fair to dark. Who would have thought, right?
Makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes told Allure that it's a universally flattering shade that complements everyone. If you have medium or dark skin with warm undertones, this will only help to accentuate your skin's natural yellow–but in a good way.
Sure, the color might look slightly cray, but it does a hell of a job highlighting and sculpting your cheekbones. Still not convinced? Just check out a few versions of the cool trend below.
