I'm all for nice, long nails, but once they hit it a length where they no longer look cute without polish it's time to cut. But for one teenager named Simone Taylor, nails can never get too long. Not only has she not cut her nails in 3 years but they're 6 inches long. I repeat 6 inches long!

Listen, I'm not here to judge. To each their own. Right? And it's not like Simone's nails look gross or anything. The girl's nails stay clean and polished. In fact, she has a pretty dedicated nail routine.
"I use two coats of nail hardener. For the first coat I use XXL Nail Thickener by Essence ($2.79) and for the second coat I use Ultra Strong Nail Hardener ($2.50) also by Essence. It's also helpful to apply cuticle oil, like, every second day."
While some might find these to be absolutely disgusting, they don't repulse me all that much. I'm definitely not cringing in my seat.

Sure, they're WAY too long for my taste, but I wouldn't say they make Simone look like a sucia or anything. If she had chipped or broken nails with dirt underneath, maybe. I'm just wondering how she gets anything done with those things.
I wouldn't be able to type, write, do dishes, or anything that requires too much from my hands. I'd also be nervous that simply pulling up my jeans would cause one to break. Seriously, how do you live your life with nails this long?

Apparently, they give Simone problems, too. Homegirl just loves her nails too much to do anything about it. But she straight up can't even write with them.
"I have exams at the moment and it's hard to write, after one hour of writing my hands really hurt. On the computer, I have to type using my knuckles." Did I mention she's failing her gym class because she can't play any sports with these nails? Yea, that's just cray.
Let's just hope she doesn't do the same with her toenails cause they already look long. I can't imagine fitting 6-inch toenails into a pair of shoes.
