I've been dying for Kim Kardashian to say farewell to those long, butt-length extensions, and the moment is finally here. The reality star recently ditched her "Cher hair" for a chic, shoulder-length cut, and I'm all about it. It's blunt, it's sleek, it's edgy and it's SO Kim! They should call it the haircut of the season. Seriously, wait until you see it!

Kim's mid-length blunt cut was done by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. "Kim and I decided to change up her hair and go for a shorter blunt cut," he told Glamour. "I love this look. It's sexy but still dramatic as all of the hair is one length and has that super-sharp finish."

I've been waiting forever for Kim to do something about that waist-length hair. I even wrote about it! So I'm glad to see she went for a sleek and sexy cut. Not only does it look stylish, but Kim's hair also looks a lot healthier. Chris says the trick is to keep it shiny. He recommends working a hair oil on wet hair before blow drying. He's even doing doobies on her to keep the hair sleek and straight. If you're Dominican or Puerto Rican, you know what I'm talking about. The doobie is basically wrapping hair around with bobby pins.

I'm honestly hyped about Kim's hair, mainly because I recently got a sleek lob similar to Kim's that hits at my collarbone and I've been excited to see how it will look once I grow it out. Kim's length is absolutely perfect. Not too short, not too long, and it's sexy AF! Heck, after this inspiration I might not ever go back to boob-length hair again.
