Valentine's Day is just around the corner and whether you're spending it with your bae or bestie–roses should be involved. And we're not talking about a giant bouquet. We're referring to skincare products infused with this romantic flower. That's right, roses do a lot more than just look pretty and give off an incredible scent. They're loaded with beneficial ingredients that leaves skin soothed, hydrated, regenerated, and radiant for days. Why all this hype?

“The rose has so many skincare benefits that we call it "nature’s” wonder," says Glazman. "It helps soothe, making it ideal for sensitive skin, as well as tone and hydrate. Plus, the scent of rose adds a unique sensorial quality to the experience of using the products." We couldn’t agree more!
It’s calming on sensitive skin.

"Rosewater is beneficial for all skin types and has been used since antiquity for its balancing, cooling, and astringent properties," says Glazman. "Rosewater is also traditionally used to calm and soothe the skin. If you have sensitive or easily irritated skin, try Fresh Rose Face Mask ($62). "I like to place it in the refrigerator for a few hours. Once you apply the mask, it helps soothe and cool the complexion, and leaves skin feeling balanced," Glazman adds.
It’s toning.

“Rose is known for its toning and astringent properties because it promotes gentle cleaning of the skin’s surface and helps to effectively remove pollution particles and surface debris, while leaving skin soft and hydrated," says Glazman. Try a rose-water infused toner that’s going to leave skin moisturized and refreshed for hours, like Fresh Rose Floral Toner ($40).
Apply it after a facial.

Facials can leave skin red, blotchy, and irritated immediately after. Try a soothing rose-infused spray, like Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater ($7) to calm skin down.
It’s deeply hydrating.

"Because rose is very gentle on the skin, you can incorporate it into any step of your skincare," says Glazman who recommends using a rose-based face cream during the winter to keep skin hydrated and glowy. Try Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing & Brightening Cream ($38).
It nourishes and repairs skin.

A pure and concentrated rose oil not only moisturizes skin but deeply nourishes and repairs. Try Aerin Rose Oil ($68).
It refreshes tired-looking eyes.

The cooling and brightening benefits of rose leaves eyes looking wide-awake and refreshed. Try Fresh Hydrating Eye Gel Cream ($41).
