“I used to be so critical of myself and I overthought everything, including my posts lol,” Bidot captioned this photo. “But I realized that unless I learn to love and accept myself, nobody will ever know or love the real me. So here I am, no photoshop, and no f*cks given … Never let anyone tell you that you aren’t enough. I’m perfectly imperfect and that’s ok. Happy Monday!!! #nowrongway.”

She unapologetically shows her imperfections.

Bidot recently posted another collage photo, where she opened up about finally showing off the parts of her body that she’s always been insecure about.

“In the spirit of not letting insecurities have control over us, here are two things that I have avoided for years. 1. Shorts … for many reasons, but mainly because I have no “thigh-gap” and I never will, so f-it! Lol,” she wrote. “Showing my belly because well I have some stretch marks and some baby weight I might need to lose (8 years later). I refuse to be mean to myself and I refuse to hide what society has labeled as flaws any longer. I am a work in progress, constantly learning/growing as a woman and I am going to enjoy every moment of my journey regardless of if my thighs touch.” Amen to that!

She’s not afraid to rock a bikini.

Perfect day for the pool,” she captioned this bikini pic. “Learning to love my body more and more each day. I never thought I’d wear a bikini that wasn’t high waisted after having my daughter, but here I am, at 30, embracing all of me. Stretch marks, no thigh gap, happiness. Life is what you make of it ladies, let’s just learn to be happy, in the end that’s all that matters. So I’m posting this to show that no one is perfect and that’s ok. No filter, no retouching, just me.”

She keeps it real.

Spent the last 2 hours shopping and all I got were these selfies,” she captioned this photo. “Can high end brands start making bigger sizes already?” Cheers to that.

She started a movement.

In efforts to get other women to live unapologetically and own their beauty, Bidot started the There is No Wrong Way To Be a Woman campaign. Women from all over rock the T-shirt with her slogan and post on social media. “The strength of a woman is unparalleled and society’s definition of beauty often overshadows it,” she writes on her site. “I want to show that not only are we strong, but our differences are exactly what makes us beautiful. After all, a rainbow would be pretty boring if it was just one color and size.” We couldn’t agree more.

She’s proud of her stretch marks.

Bidot participated in a campaign with Lane Bryant, where she proudly showed off her pregnancy stretch marks. “This body is made to stretch the limits,” reads the ad.

Her NYFW debut inspired all of us.

"#FBF To this defining moment in 2014 when I made my NYFW debut for @chromat,” she wrote. “Can’t believe I’ve had the honor of walking the #NYFW catwalks every season since then. Believe in yourself, anything is possible.”

She truly loves her curves.

Bidot wrote a very moving open letter to her daughter on the importance of self-love. “You are perfect. From your curly hair to your beautiful brown skin and your mixed heritage–you are perfect,” she says in the letter.
